Nicole D’Almeida is a Professor at the Graduate School of Journalism and Communications (CELSA) of the Sorbonne University where she teaches on subjects pertaining to global communications: internal and external communications of corporate and organizational entities, public opinion and public relations, communication of environment and sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and narrative discourses in these fields. She is also the founding director of the MBA degree program created at the university.
D’Almeida’s work has been widely published and translated, including her most recent works on internal communications, La communication interne, published by Dunod in 2006, on the new power of opinion, La société du jugement, published by Armand Colin in 2007 and a work on public opinion, L’Opinion publique, published by CNRS Editions in 2009.
In addition to her academic research, D’Almeida is the Vice President of the French Association of Information and Communication Sciences, Société Française de Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication, and is the Editor in Chief of the academic review, Hermès, published by the French national scientific research center, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, based in Paris.
