FBoursinFrançoise Finniss-Boursin is a Professor of Political Communications at The Graduate School of Journalism and Communications (CELSA) of the Sorbonne University where she also co-directs the Institutional & Corporate Communications Degree Program.  In addition to the two master’s programs that she leads, Boursin recently created a joint Master’s Degree with France’s School of public administration, l’Ecole Nationale d’Adminstration.

Boursin began her career studying French literature, Latin and Greek, obtaining the French post-secondary teaching qualification, l’Agrégation.  She holds a PhD in Political Communications, following defence of her dissertation on French presidential discourse.  Her main fields of research are in political communications and rhetoric with a historical perspective.  She teaches in all of the degree programs at CELSA, including the doctoral studies program.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Boursin oversees the international relations of CELSA and is a member of the French National Evaluation Committee for Research, le Conseil National des Universités.
