Chekhov in Paris

For those of you interested in a little Russian culture, two great plays by Anton Chekhov, The Seagull and Uncle Vania, are playing at the moment at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet.  Considered one of the greatest writers in Russian literature, Chekhov’s plays have been translated and put on stages all over the world. The two plays are playing until October 13th, and the prices for students are more than reasonable, at  7 to 16 euros or 9 to 21.50 euros for the entire day on Sunday October 7th. So if you’re looking for a nice way to spend the evening or Sunday, don’t hesitate to go.
